“ I  have always had a passion for assisting individuals to realise their uniqueness, to strive towards reaching their full potential, and to lead their best lives possible.  I am also passionate about health, beauty and fitness, a balanced lifestyle, and to inspire others to be their best selves possible.  I enjoy staying fit and strong and to participate in trail and road running events.

The Radiance Foundation was established to be a platform for projects that will have far-reaching positive outcomes regarding the  health and quality of life for individuals and groups within the Western Cape.  The extensive waiting list for cataract surgery in the Western Cape was identified as our first target project as cataract removal surgery is such a  worthwhile endeavour that changes people’s lives dramatically in so many ways.  I hope to use my experience, drive and passion for upliftment to assist my team in making this project a world class success story.

I am only privileged to have studied in the most beautiful 'dorpie' in Cape Town... Stellenbosch! I have a BSc Human Movement Science Degree with Physiology. I have been blessed with my Sport career and my vision is to inspire people and our children on and off the field!

I want to be the voice, spokesperson and ambassador for the underprivileged and to stand in the gap for others! That is why we started Radiance Foundation, to have and be that platform! Anita Janse van Rensburg           Anita Janse van Rensburg -  Radiance Foundation Secretary/Legal Consultant

Anita matriculated with Junet van der Merwe at Dr. E.G. Jansen High School, Boksburg in 1993. She studied B.Com Law at Rand Afrikaans University in Johannesburg from 1994 until 1996, and thereafter completed her post graduate LL.B degree in 1998. She has experience as a legal consultant at an insurance company, and was admitted as attorney, notary and conveyancer in the High Court of Cape Town in 2004, whereafter she joined the firm Gerhard Gous Attorneys in Stellenbosch, where she now has been in practice for the last 10 years, first and foremost as conveyancer and property lawyer, but where she also attends to various aspects of company law, contracts, estates and trusts.

"As a little girl, I was the one bringing home the 'bird with a broken wing',  the one who defended those who could not defend themselves. As an adult I became intensely involved in whatever community I found myself in at the time, whether it was the homeless on the streets of Hillbrow, or the destitute in Stellenbosch. Being an attorney and having a compassionate heart is quite a challenge to balance, but also opens various doors to live out my dream of making a difference in people's lives by being involved with the practicalities of everyday life. I will endeavour, through the skills I bring to the table and the empathy I feel with those in need, to help people through Radiance Foundation to believe they are worthy just as they are, to dare greatly and live wholeheartedly."
